Abstract

Human communication has evolved from its primitive forms to the digital age, transforming how power is exercised and contested. This paper analyzes the historical journey from information monopolization in ancient civilizations to the current era, where technology and ICTs enable the atomization of information dissemination. It explores the relationship between the press and political power, the participation of new actors in the communication ecosystem, and the ethical dilemmas arising from anonymity and information manipulation through technologies such as AI. Finally, it highlights the importance of political narratives in this new context and discusses the ethical implications of technological innovations.
